Fundraisers
Friends of Music runs several fundraisers throughout the year to fund scholarships, instruments, uniforms, transportation and much more.

Fair Parking

Friends of Music runs a large parking lot at the Marshfield Fair for 10 days every August. Fair Parking is an important source of revenue for Friends of Music and a terrific opportunity for students and their parents to earn money for their student music accounts. Sign-ups for Fair Parking shifts begin at the Spring Concerts, and will continue with online shift requests right here on the FOM web site. (Learn More)

Pops Concert

Our annual Pops Concert featuring the high school performing groups and Pops-style seating raises money for music scholarships. The 2008 Pops Concert on May 17 featured a twinkling "Evening Garden Party" theme and entertaining performances, dazzling the crowd from start to finish.

Wine Tasting & Silent Auction

A fun night featuring many different types of wine to sample from all corners of the globe, as well as a silent auction, gourmet hors d'oeuvres, and a martini bar. At the second annual Wine Tasting & Silent Auction on April 12th, 2008, organizers were thrilled and grateful as they watched proceeds surpass the year before. Money raised from this event went entirely to benefit the Marshfield Music Program.

Craft Fair

Browse the wares of the region's finest crafters at this kickoff to the holiday shopping season while supporting Marshfield Music. Includes activities for kids, bake sale and a special visitor from the North Pole.

Membership Drive

Annual mailing to families and businesses offering membership and sponsorship opportunities. Donors may direct a portion of their contribution to a particular student's music account.

Calendar Raffle

The Calendar Raffle raised over $2,500 in February 2008 for the 47 participating students' music accounts, which they can use to pay music-related expenses. View the winners list.

Pizza Dough

Pizza Pizza. Get your Little Caesar's pizza kits, Crazy Bread and other products from that persistent little musician that won't get off your doorstep until you buy something. Proceeds offset the cost of the annual Great East Music Festival fees for middle school students.
