Director's Corner
     Welcome back!  I hope everyone had a fantastic, fun, and restful summer.  We've been busy in the music department and FOM getting ready for another great year.    
     As I write, we've just finished another super-successful summer program.  The concert at MHS was amazing.  Kudos to all the students and parents.  Many thanks to Maria Varonko and Justin Canzano for doing such a great job with the summer program.  There is a smaller chamber program running August 14-17 as well.
     It's August and that means Band Camp and Fair Parking.  Details are available on this site and in emails to members.  These are just the first of many events for the year.  We're so excited to get going!
     Many thanks to Jenn Kelly, the FOM's new main uniform parent.  She and her crew of dedicated parents have helped me reorganize and reinventory all our FOM uniforms over the past year.  It's been a huge job and we thank you for your cooperation.  We're almost done!  Send your uniform concerns to mhsmusicuniforms@gmail.com and one of us will take care of you. 
     It's never a bad time to sign up for (or get back into) private lessons! If you want private lessons for your child (all levels), fill out a lesson form and get it to me. 
     Our department is as busy as ever at all levels. Events are now posted for this coming year. Please check the Calendar page for updated information on all Music Dept. events. Please contact me if you need anything.
